Dr. Neil Manimala is proud to be serving the Tampa Bay area as a board-certified urologist with Florida Urology Partners. A native of Valrico, FL, Dr. Manimala received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of South Florida. He was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for exemplifying compassionate, collaborative, and scientifically excellent care. Dr. Manimala then completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of South Florida, completing a year as chief resident.
Dr. Manimala’s clinical interests include numerous fields within adult general urology with a special focus on voiding dysfunction. Dr. Manimala believes there is no one-size-fits-all solution to urologic problems, and would work with you to make a decision regarding a surgical or non-surgical treatment option. His primary office is in Brandon, and he operates out of Tampa General Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital-South, South Florida Baptist Hospital, South Shore Hospital, and Tampa General Hospital Brandon Healthplex.
Dr. Manimala is committed to serving the neighborhoods that helped raise him. He strongly believes in prioritizing the physician-patient relationship and has a passion for healthcare quality improvement, advocacy, and systems reform within his community. In his spare time, Dr. Manimala enjoys cooking all types of cuisines including food from his ancestral homeland of Kerala. He also loves spending quality time with family, friends, and his wife Rachel.
