Florida Urology Partners Welcomes Dr. Luke Sebel to its Nationally Recognized Medical Group

Tampa, Fla., (August 24, 2023) –Florida Urology Partners, a nationally recognized urologic specialty consortium which provides world-class comprehensive care and treatment for a wide range of conditions, including highly complex urological and other closely-related cancers, has welcomed Luke Sebel, MD, PhD to its practice group.

Dr. Sebel attended Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed his urology residency at the prestigious Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Massachusetts. He will start seeing patients in September as part of Florida Urology Partners.

“The addition of Dr. Sebel to Florida Urology Partners is a tremendous opportunity for our patients who require traditional and highly specialized urological care,” noted Dr. Timothy Weber, Executive Partner of Florida Urology. “Dr. Sebel has a tremendous background in medical research across cell and molecular biology, renal masses, and microRNAs which is a critical asset and value to our group.”

During his course of study, Dr. Sebel has attained several honors and recognitions for his contributions to medical research, including Lahey Hospital and Medical Center’s Ian C. Summerhayes Research Award, a doctorate in neuroscience from Northwestern University, and the distinction of summa cum laude from Emory University for his research in the Department of Anesthesiology.
