Dr. J. Sam Fisher, Fertility and Reproductive Medicine Specialist, Joins Florida Urology Partners
Tampa, Fla., (March 15, 2023) –Florida Urology Partners, nationally recognized urologic specialty consortium which provides world-class comprehensive care and treatment for a wide range of conditions, including highly complex urological and other closely-related cancers, has added Dr. J. Sam Fisher, toits practice group as of Fall 2022.
Fisher, a Tampa Native, graduated from Vanderbilt University with a double major in chemistry and art history. He then attended the University of South Florida for medical school. It was during this time that Fisher developed a passion for urology and the treatment of its associated issues.
During his residency in urologic surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Fisher was trained in minimally invasive techniques such as robotics, laparoscopic, open, endoscopic and microscopic surgery from fellowship trained urologists. Fisher went on to complete a fellowship specializing in men’s reproductive medicine and surgery from a pioneer and leader in the field, at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While in fellowship, Fisher helped numerous couples accomplish their goals of pregnancy despite their challenges.
Dr. Fisher is currently treating and accepting new patients at each of his three offices located at8001 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Suite 301, Tampa, Florida; 2708 W. Isabel Street, Tampa, Fla. 33607 and 4211 Van Dyke Road, Suite 206, Lutz, Fla. 33558.
In his clinical practice, Fisher treats patients for conditions such as prostate issues, low testosterone, kidney stones, overactive bladder, incontinence, anderectile/sexual dysfunction. In addition, Fisher specializes in fertility issues including vasectomy and vasectomy reversals with interests in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery for benign and cancerous tumors.
