David A. Hochberg, M.D.

Dr. David Hochberg isa board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is Chief of Urology at Tampa’s St. Joseph’s Hospital, and a previous clinical assistant professor of Urogynecology at the University of South Florida School of Medicine for the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and female incontinence. He has served as a national proctor for the training of robotic surgeons using the DaVinci Surgical System. Other areas of interest include laparoscopic urologic surgery, minimally invasive treatment for enlarged prostate (including Green light, Urolift, and Aquablation), medical and surgical treatment of urinary stones, vasectomy and vasectomy-reversal. Dr. Hochberg received a B.A. from Tulane University and his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Miami School Of Medicine. His postgraduate medical training was at New York’s, Lenox Hill Hospital, including additional clinical and research work at Cornell-New York Hospital and Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children.
